We are excited to welcome Graduate of Architecture Perry Katropoulos as one of our newest additions to S9.
Growing up with a father involved in the built environment, Perry has always been inspired by the construction industry.
Drawn to his creative side from a young age through his drawing abilities, Perry knew he was eager to merge his artistic capabilities with his knowledge of the built form. Architecture was the perfect amalgamation and logical career path for him.
Having previously worked in smaller practices, Perry has taken working in a larger studio environment in his stride, always posing thought-out questions and remaining curious about how to better his craft.
With previous experience in bespoke residential and commercial projects, Perry also has a fascination with tiny homes and how small but practical spaces can enhance one’s wellbeing. “My favourite aspect of designing tiny homes comes from operating within strict constraints, always small and subtle in the landscape but delicious little parcels of design.”
He is eager to diversify his portfolio through our studio’s broad portfolio of work across a multitude of sectors. Perry is also looking forward to the personal growth of working in a larger studio, with the opportunity for mentorship and to broaden his experience. Keen to become registered, he is excited to continue to use his skills in the ‘puzzles of design and problem solving of spaces’.
Seamlessly slotting into the team, always with a smile on his face, he is already proving to be an asset to our evolving studio. Welcome to the team Perry.
