We are delighted to welcome Nadia Jamal as our newest addition to our architectural team.
With a masters in both architecture and landscape architecture, Nadia’s approach to design is all about creating spaces that feel connected, grounded in place, and designed with people in mind.
Growing up between Australia and Syria, Nadia experienced the contrast between the slower-paced, community-driven lifestyle of Syrian culture concurrently with the fast-paced rhythm of Australian living. These dual influences shaped her deep appreciation for connection to place and instilled a strong sense of the role design plays in bringing people together anywhere in the world.
From a young age, Nadia discovered her passion for design, inspired by her father’s architectural drawings and creativity. She has always been fascinated by seeing sketches transform into built form, sparking a desire in her to be part of that creative process.
She brings a unique lens to the studio, understanding how landscape can elevate the built environment and strengthen the connection between people and place.
Having previously worked predominantly on residential and education projects, Nadia is now focused on broadening her portfolio across the diverse sectors the studio has to offer, while continuing to explore residential and multi-residential work for its more personal approach to design.
Eager to learn from the people around her in the studio, Nadia is excited to see projects through from start to finish, and to explore how landscape opportunities can be thoughtfully integrated from the outset to enrich project outcomes.
A natural fit to our evolving studio, we are pleased to welcome Nadia to our architectural team.
