Welcoming our newest Graduates

Introducing graduates of architecture Eddie Omondi, Caitlin Gray, and Sebastian Barbour, who joined our architectural team late last year.

At different stages of their careers, they each bring a shared passion for design, a deep appreciation for the built environment, and a drive to push the boundaries of creative possibility within their work.

Having previously worked at GHD Design and City Collective, Eddie brings experience in multi-residential, health, and large-scale defense projects, combining a strong technical foundation with an appreciation for complex, multi-building developments. His prior experience includes working on social housing projects in Bowden and health precincts such as the Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Edinburgh Air Force Defence Base. Eddie’s path to architecture began with a background in engineering and a fascination with sports stadium design during his childhood. He believes thoughtful design and functionality go hand-in-hand, improving lives in both subtle and impactful ways.

Originally from Scotland and a perfectionist at heart, Caitlin thrives on communicating her ideas through visuals rather than words. She is eager to expand her expertise in both architecture and interior design, broadening her portfolio with the goal of one day designing her own space that blends creativity with functionality. With experience in graphic design, Caitlin has a keen eye for detail and a talent for visual communication, which she applies seamlessly to her architectural work to deliver clear, thoughtful design solutions. Caitlin has primarily worked on residential projects but has also contributed to hospitality projects, including La Cave à Vin, a wine bar in Perth, and The Smiddy, a tourist accommodation in the UK.

Sebastian’s interest in design and construction began in his early childhood, where he enjoyed building bike tracks and bridges. This hands-on experience, along with his early exploration of woodworking, fostered a strong passion for architecture. He is particularly interested in sports and recreation projects and how architecture can enhance the user experience. Formerly working at Hames Sharley and Phillips/Pilkington Architects, Sebastian has contributed to multiple education and sporting projects, such as Magill Primary School, Scotch College Linkage project, and the Golden Grove Recreation & Arts Centre Masterplan. With a focus on creating impactful, lasting designs, Sebastian is determined to work on projects that shape his city and contribute to its built environment.

Together, they look forward to growing their skills, contributing to meaningful projects, and leaving a lasting impact through their work.

Welcome to the studio, Eddie, Caitlin, and Sebastian.
