Design work is now well progressed on this key townhouse site as part of the next release at Southwark Grounds
Designed by our multi-residential specialists, in collaboration with Kolabb, Centina and Renewal SA, the projects comprises of 26 townhouses that will continue to elevate the desirability of this emerging neighbourhood.
Anderson Lane holds an enviable position in the south-western corner of the broader Southwark Grounds masterplan.
The primary north facing Anderson Lane frontage overlooks the highly landscaped public realm which is a vehicle free, pedestrian and cycle friendly environment which connects the site to the broader masterplan and key linkages to Adelaide CBD.
The western facing Cawthorne Street frontage responds to the finer grain of this existing street context through a stepping in built form scale and a subtle change of materiality.
At the heart of the site, and through close collaboration with TCL, we have created an abundance of in-ground and on-building landscaping, which achieves a 30% tree canopy coverage overall, and is focused around the provision of a communal shared pocket park.
The four distinct dwelling types have been developed to respond to their orientation, context and scale to provide a clear differentiation in offering and price point to ensure these homes will attract a broad range of occupiers to support the vitality of the broader precinct.
The strong geometric forms and expression of framed elements establishes a common language across the varying dwelling typologies to deliver a coherent streetscape language that is well articulated and contextually responsive.
With the Development Application (Planning) due to be lodged shortly and construction to commence in mid-2026, Anderson Lane will further promote Southwark Grounds as Adelaide’s next great neighbourhood.
