Woodville High School STEM
The recently completed project as part of the State’s STEM roll out, includes maker spaces, science facilities and a central lecture area. During the early conceptual stage of the project we explored a range of table, seating and display possibilities with less emphasis on traditional lab experiments and more opportunities for STEM based activities.
English and Mathematics have been embedded into the design through integrated graphics on the walls and windows. The philosophy of indoor outdoor learning has been nurtured via tree and nature motifs throughout, as well as providing shelter to activate a previously underutilised space and enable student connection to the outdoors, all year round.
