The redevelopment and rejuvenation of the oval provides a landmark community facility to the Port Augusta area, offering multi-use for sporting, functions and community events
The facility includes three internal basketball / netball courts and changeroom facilities, an AFL compliant oval and AFL standard home and away changeroom facilities, gym, cafe and internal and external spectator areas with retractable seating inside. Doubling as a community facility the building also includes a large sub-dividable function area with kitchens and bars, rooms / areas for community groups and administration offices.
The team added value with their comprehensive understanding and application of the AFL guidelines to the oval, which resulted in a $1M saving for the client.
