A major redevelopment of the South Australian Jockey Club’s member spaces at Morphettville Racecourse delivers over 1,600m² of elevated hospitality environments, designed to enhance the race day experience while supporting a broader program of events and functions
The project introduces a reimagined interior layout, creating a diverse mix of settings including a new bar, café, multiple lounge areas, and a premium trackside restaurant. High-level AV integration supports both the energy of race days and the flexibility to host corporate and private events throughout the year.
Drawing from the timeless aesthetic of classic horse racing, the design offers a contemporary interpretation grounded in the identity of Morphettville. Key heritage moments are integrated through curated displays of club memorabilia, reinforcing a strong connection to place.
At the heart of the redevelopment, the expanded Chairman’s Lounge offers an ultra-premium experience with private amenities and an exclusive bar, delivering the highest level of member comfort and sophistication.
Developed in close collaboration with SAJC stakeholders, the design responds directly to the club’s culture, community and long-term ambitions, creating a legacy space that balances tradition with a future-focused outlook.
