
The interior fitout of this Yo-Chi store took inspiration from Gouger Streets high-end restaurants, bars and variety of Asian cuisines
Red and copper tones connect to an element of the surrounding culture, with a warm industrial feel to complement its CBD location.
The existing building had various bulkheads and steps throughout. Opening up the tight and narrow space, the design team chose to strip the space back to its bones, exposing concrete beams above and obtaining a flat ground plane to work with.



Three key materials — red brick tiles, copper trims and spotted gum flooring and joinery were used throughout, mixing with the standard Yo-Chi artwork, graphics and mascot


Sited directly opposite the Adelaide Central Market, designing a unique toppings bar was of important consideration to showcase the fresh produce on offer
